Christopher D Moffett was sentenced to 46 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections in 2003. Not only was this an excessive sentence for non violent offenses but it is outside the sentencing guidlines established by the state of Arkansas.
Mr. Moffett, while incarcerated has obtained his GED and is working on his college degree. He has obtained much needed employment skills and taken every self help class available to him.
In addition, he has secured an offer of employment upon release. Mr Moffett has served 7 years of his sentence and now wishes to return to society and raise his young daughter and be a productive citizen.
